Tramming Adjustments

Hi All,

Just got a 2nd hand XYZ carve and I’ve currently giving it a good once over. At present I’m just trying to tram the spindle. I’ve got a little error front to back so I’m trying to rotate the X axis to compensate. I can’t seem to find much about tramming this unit online, but are my only adjustment points the 4 screws on each side. Any tips are appreciated.

I think that you are correct, it is the most common way I know that it can be done. Although I have seen people use extra washers on the Z axis assembly wheels to rotate the assemble rather than the x axis.
